Business Plan Software

Problem: Compatibility with Miscrosoft VISTA operating system
The Business Plan Software included in these versions is not compatible with some new versions of computers using the VISTA operating system. We will post an update and/or patch as soon as it is available.
Business Plan Software

Problem: Display and Print Functions in Business Plan section require "Control" button to be used.
Cause: Pop-up Blockers.
Because the software operates in an HTML environment, pop-up blockers interfere with the display of items under the Business Plan portion of the CD. This may occur even though the default Windows portion (under "Tools" menu") is checked to allow pop-ups. The cause is usually within "add-on" blockers that may now be in place on the desktop through Google, Yahoo, or AOL toolbars. Insure that these are also set to allow pop-ups while using the software.

For this Software to function properly the following steps MUST be performed prior to the first time the CD is used! You may prefer to print out these instructions and perform them while reading from the printed version. The software system included within this CD is new in design, and requires several systems of your computer to interact that normally function separately. We recommend performing the following simple steps for proper operation of the Business Plan Software:

- Download the patch, click here.
- When asked to run or save the file, run it.
- Answer Yes to applying the update.
- Click OK to acknowledge the update was applied successfully.
- Reboot the computer.
Add Adobe Acrobat Reader
Forms contained within this CD require Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here to download a free version from Adobe. You will need to select the appropriate operating system for the computer that you are using to view this CD.
Break Even Analysis Patch 1.0

Versions affected: CEDBPV3.0, CEDBP3.1, NAWBOV3.0
Problem: Break Even Analysis (Financial Section - Business Plan Creation)
fails to function.

Cash Flow Projection Patch
Date: August 2006
Versions affected: V2.0, V2.5
Problem: There is an error on some version 2.0 and 2.5 Cash Flow Projection Spreadsheets (Advanced Version) under the Financial Plan section of the business plan software. The monthly ending balance does not carry to the following month.
For those with excel experience, this can be corrected by entering in the correct formula.

Small Business CD Patch 1.0
Date: October 24, 2005
Versions affected: V1.0, V2.0, V2.5
Problem: Business Plan Software does not display previous work or bring up the "Display" function.
The latest Microsoft upgrades may require the reapplication of the Small Business CD Patch, even if you have already applied it. If you still have the patch on your computer, simply run the patch again. If not, download it again following the directions below. This should not effect any saved information from previous work.
This Small Business CD Patch 1.0 will be included on all new CDs being developed and on upgraded reorders.
To receive this patch, perform the following:
